Maintenance & Repairs

Achieve peak performance from your piano with routine maintenance that keeps it playing with maximum comfort, repetition, and dynamic control according to the manufacturer's specifications. This type of work is recommended on upright pianos every five to seven years, and on grand pianos every three to five years.

Tuning

Tuning your piano regularly is the first step to maintaining a healthy instrument. Humidity is constantly making subtle changes to your piano, whether you can hear it or not! At the minimum, pianos should be tuned annually to maintain proper pitch. Consistent tunings will enable your piano to sing at its full potential.

Pre-Purchase Evaluation

You wouldn’t want to buy a car without first having it inspected by a mechanic… and it’s the same with pianos! We don’t want you to make the mistake of investing in a broken instrument; that’s why we perform thorough evaluations for new and used instruments.

Piano Guard

The latest in grand piano humidity control, Piano Guard is an advanced system that humidifies, dehumidifies, and feeds all the data on these fluctuations to an app for easy, remote monitoring. This system is a must for universities, institutions, or private owners who want the convenience of trackable data. Recommended for grand pianos under 7' 2".

Piano Life Saver

Piano Life Saver systems provide consistent humidity regulation for your home. Available for either upright or grand pianos, these systems require minimal maintenance from piano owners and promote stability and health by humidifying pianos in the winter months and dehumidifying in seasons with high humidity.
